Honeylush Hotel
The Terms and Conditions are set out as an agreement between 'you' the owner and Honeylush Hotel.
1. Submission of a Questionnaire will confirm the owner/s acceptance of the Terms and Conditions and their desire to progress with a Booking.
2. A ‘assessment/meet and greet’ must be made within 7 days of the enquiry being made to ensure that your dog/s get along with the resident dogs at Honeylush Hotel. Only nice natured dogs that are friendly and can freely mix will be accepted. Meet and Greets are ideally done Mon-Fri to ensure our weekly day care dogs get to meet your dog and they all get along.
3. Bookings are not confirmed for boarding until the non refundable/non transferable booking fee of 50% per day/night, per dog has been paid. All new bookings are made at the owners risk and should a lockdown/isolation be enforced the booking fees will not be transferred to a later date nor will they be refunded. Places are at a premium due to limited licensed numbers and the booking fees secures the requested dates. Invoice will be sent for deposit. A place will not be secured until deposit received.
4. Dogs who have never previously stayed at Honeylush Hotel will be required to have a trial for a full day or a 24 hour trial daycare/night to assess how they settle. The trial day/night will be charged at the usual rate. Should Honeylush Hotel deem your dog not suitable to board then any subsequent booking fee paid will be refunded.
5. Payment is due in full for the remainder of the boarding fees 30 days before the start date of the booking and these are non-refundable/non transferrable. Invoice will be sent for payment.
Should a cancellation be made between the time all fees are paid and the start of the boarding Honeylush Hotel will endeavour to fill the space and if this is possible then a refund will be offered otherwise all fees will be non-refundable/transferrable.
Failure to pay will result in the cancellation of the booking and subsequent loss of the booking fee.
6. Charges are as follows • Day care – from £20 per day • Overnight Boarding - from £25 per 24 hours. Dogs that remain at Honeylush Hotel after their 24 hour period has lapsed on the day of collection will be charged at a rate of £5.00 per hour thereafter.
7. An additional charge of £10 per Day/Night applies to all Statutory Bank Holidays and between the dates 27th December and 30th January. Please enquire for quotes.
The following dates are charged at double the rate – Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day.
8. Puppies under 9 months are charged at an extra £5 per day/night to cover for additional ongoing training, work, broken sleep and damage that entails.
9. Please ensure you keep to the times agreed for drop off and collection as preparation will have been made to separate your dog in anticipation and any delays can cause anxiety and disruption regarding walking etc.
Honeylush Hotel • Opening Hours – Mon – Fri 8am – 18.00pm, Saturday 8 -5.30 Sundays 8 – 5pm. Cancellations must be notified to Honeylush Dog Hotel in writing. Booking fees are non-refundable. Should you return from your holiday early refunds will not be issued as places are at a premium. Should you be delayed from returning from your holiday additional charges will apply at the normal rate. However should Honeylush Hotel be at the maximum numbers of dogs allowed, the Emergency Contact you have provided will be contacted to collect your dog back.
11. Honeylush Hotel do not offer discounts for multiple dogs or for long stays. Our dogs are not kennelled and therefore do not share anything. They are all treated as individuals and each receive the same level of care and attention.
12. There may be instances where your dogs are housed/walked with dogs from other families however all dogs will have been subjected to a meet and greet and have been deemed by us to be of a friendly nature to be able to mix with others. By signing the booking form you agree to this clause and that they will be housed at the same time as others dogs albeit if left at any stage during the day or at night-time they will be given their own room for sleeping . If more than one dog is coming from your home then you agree that they will be housed together.
13. A maximum of 4 dogs will be walked at any one time but this will depend on breed and size.
Dogs will have a minimum of 2x20 minute walks each day along with a variety of valuable enrichment activities in the secure garden and inside the home. I will also be hiring secure fields to take Honeylush hotels guests to as a treat. It is Honeylush Hotel’s policy to exercise all dogs on a lead, unless they are a regular visitor at Honeylush and are familiar with us. However, if you would prefer your dog exercised off lead please stipulate this on the booking form, under which you accept responsibility.
14. There is a under 16 years of age child resident in the house and therefore your dog/s must be child friendly. If your dog should react or growl at the child at any time you or your emergency contact will be contacted to collect your dog immediately.
15. You agree to complete in full the Questionnaire about your dog/s giving as much honest information as possible to allow us to ensure we follow your dog/s routine and they are happy whilst in our care.
During your continued use of Honeylush Hotel’s services you agree to keep us informed of any changes to your dog/s Questionnaire.
16. All dogs must be up to date with their vaccinations, worming, tick and flea treatments. You must provide a copy of the vaccination booklet at the start of each board.
Alternatively if you Titer test please provide a copy of the most recent test.
You further agree to deliver your dog in a clean and flea free condition. If you choose to give your dog the Kennel Cough Vaccination then this must have been given at least 14 days prior to the start of their board as it is a live vaccine and therefore your dog could pass the disease onto other dogs during the 14 day period.
17. All dogs must be microchipped and the microchip number must be supplied to for a board to commence.
18. In the event of any emergency if we are unable to proceed with the board we will endeavour to transfer the board to another home boarder. We reserve the right at our discretion to cancel the booking and refund your deposit without any liability to Honeylush Hotel, however we appreciate that this is an inconvenience and this would only happen in extreme circumstances.
19. We are unable to accept dogs with aggression problems towards other dogs or people and subject to the terms of the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991. We reserve the right to decide which dogs we feel are suitable for Honeylush Hotel. We do not take very large breed, dangerous breeds nor any terrier type breeds.
Should your dog attack another dog whilst under the care of Honeylush Hotel causing injury that requires veterinary care then you agree to cover all the costs. You will be asked to remove your dog immediately or your UK Emergency contact will be contacted to take your dog and no refund will be issued.
20. We are happy to accept bookings for un spayed bitches, however we do not accept bitches that are in season and if you believe your dog is due into season during her board you must inform us as we will not accept the booking.
Should your dog come into season whilst at Honeylush we may require her to be removed to your Emergency UK Contact. No refunds will be issued for the remainder of the board.
We do not accept un-neutered dogs over the age of 12 months.
21. You agree to supply enough food for the duration of your dog's board. If insufficient food is supplied at the start of the board you agree to refund Honeylush Hotel costs incurred purchasing more food.
22. Your dog MUST wear a collar for their stay at Honeylush.
23. We do not accept toys as we cannot guarantee that they will not be destroyed/returned. Other personal belongings to be discussed at booking.
24. If your dog causes damage to the Honeylush Hotel or belongings, other than reasonable tear and wear, you agree to reimburse any reasonable cost incurred by the carer in this event. This includes any soiling costs to clean the property should your dog soil inside.
25. If your dog is aggressive or bites during its board it will be moved to a kennel and a transfer fee of £20.00 will be payable by yourself upon your return. There will be no refund of the boarding fees you have paid to Honeylush Hotel and any additional fees charged by the kennels will be payable by you.
26. Honey Hotel will use all care to ensure the happiness, safety and welfare of your dog/s. If however your dog becomes unwell or has an accident during his board we will take him to a Veterinary Surgery. You agree to be responsible for payment of veterinary fees to cover for illness not caused by their stay, incurred, upon your return.
We do recommend that your dog is insured against sickness, accident, injury and third party liability prior to the start of the board. The booking form gives authorisation to take your dog/s to the Vet's if necessary, whilst also confirming you will either reimburse any fees or pay the Veterinary Surgery directly, which-ever applies.
In the case of an accident Honeylush does have Business Insurance to cover for this.
27. If the need arises to transport your dog anywhere they will be taken in the Company vehicle and will be in a crate in the back with air conditioning on .
28. Although we make every effort to ensure your dog/s is cared for to our usual high standards we cannot be liable for loss, injury or death.
29. Photos taken of your dog/s during the board will be the property of Honeylush Hotel and may be shared on our social media site. Should you not wish for your dog(s) photos to be shared please let us know by using the questionnaire.
